Facebook Marketing is constantly making improvements to its interface, tweaking old favorite features and incorporating new features in order to bring the site closer to a one-stop portal. Of course, not every feature is going to be ideal for everyone, but there are a few features this year that are already making a big splash. If you want to make the most of your business strategy on Facebook, you need to learn and master least these three features immediately.
The first one is temporary profile pictures. Now, instead of forcing you to go back and forth changing profile pictures based on what is going on with your business, you can set a time limit on your profile picture, making it temporary. This is very useful for seasons, events in the news, or anything else that you want to communicate to all of your followers for a fixed period of time.
The second feature you need to learn is Facebook Professional Services. This feature is a lot like Yelp, in that it lets users review businesses and see how they stack up to competitors. As with Yelp, it is integral that you keep a close eye on this feature, making sure that you are stacking up to competitors.
Finally, you will want to check out the Facebook Shopping Tab. This feature has an analogue of its own in Google Shopping, and whether you are selling through it directly or just trying to gage the market, it is important to know where you can find the information you need and what it all means.
